I got a call from my friend Doug Aitken about 5 years ago.
He asked if I could design and build a custom playback engine
to capture the realtime sounds of the earth.
After some blood sweat and tears it is finally complete.
Roughly one hole a mile deep, six microphones,
lots of cable, a massive 1200w subwoofer
plus a computer are all you need to hear the sounds of the earth!
